A mighty oak

My little acorn is doing so well. It had 3 leaves in total last year and all turned brown and dropped off during the winter; leaving just a twig in the mud.

But look at it now! A fresh sprouting of leaves has appeared now the spring is here and the little oak is standing at least an inch taller than last year.
