R.I.P. David Bowie
I woke up to find excitingly that I had reached 1000 followers on Instagram, but as I flicked through the posts of all the artists I follow, I realised it was in fact a sad day as we have lost one of the most influential artists of our time.? David Bowie was a true legend.? The music is timeless and I am sure I am not alone in being a huuuuge fan of the Goblin King… if you have never watched the Labyrinth then you must do it this very second.? There’s no time to get that washing out, or feed the cat or finish feeding the kids, you must drop everything and watch that amazing film!? (I have the collectors edition which if you live near to me, I may let you borrow).
You may not be aware, but Worry is a HUGE Bowie fan and often makes me play his songs on repeat while he dances around my desk.? I am sure you understand this makes it hard for me to work.? But I enjoy the music too, so we all win.? In honour of the wonderful man leaving this world, Worry has dressed up as Ziggy Stardust and we are watching the Labyrinth now that we have spent the afternoon listening to the music (my superbly creative year 8 class spent the last 5 minutes of todays lesson dancing to Bowie tunes as a reward for their fab behaviour and work).

And let Simon Pegg’s quote cheer you a bit: “If you’re sad today, just remember the world is 4 billion years old and you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie.”
Here’s Worry in his face paint.? What was your favourite Bowie song?
