ToyCon UK 2015
The third year of the UK’s Designer Toy Convention was just as superb as the rest!? This year flew by before I really had time to say hello to everyone.? It was a blur, but a great one!? Friday night dinner with the Toy Family was ace and set us up ready for a day of socialising and touting our wares on Saturday.? By Sunday I was ready for a nap.
I stitched my own table cover this year.? The last two years I had folded some fabric to make a cover, but this year I stepped it up and made my own, fitted and lined, table cover in my signature material.? It was good fun, but turned out to be really heavy!
We had such a great time.? This year I shared with Pickled Circus a seriously talented artist!? There was a lot of laughter and a huge selection of art to be purchased on the day.? Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and to Pete for being my booth buddy as always.? Ian was the model for my photo wall.? I took my instax camera and people had a quick snap taken to add to my wall.? That was great fun and something I will probably do again next year.
The weekend was completed with flowering teas and japanese food with friends and family.
I can’t wait to do it all again next year, although I have something a little different up my sleeve…
